Truth is actual, belief is not.

Every trip of a politician or some other man of power, of a higher or lower rank, costs money, sometimes a lot. To what avail? They fly in their super secure planes and the workers down below who actually do something earn less and less, for they are 'unimportant'. The more meetings, the more problems and the more analysis the more paralysis. Every one has its own view. The United Nations are not united obviously, cause there would not be nations.
One should act before tragedy happens.

All nationalism is similar to Hitler's. One is black, another is brown under a different banner.

All organized religions have false beliefs in their core. One is more violent, another less but what's false is false.

Do you call nationalism patriotism and jump in joy when your team scores a goal?

Why can't you watch a game admiring the play without taking sides?

Is it the same why you can't bear witnessing 'your' beliefs being exposed?

Or 'your' country being attacked while you're not so emotional when a tragedy happens across the border?

One tribe surely cannot be an answer to tribalism of another kind and colour.

Belonging to a group, be it national or organized religion. That was in the core of nazi movement in Germany and popularity of Hitler. That is what is in any nationality, whatever its name can be, patriotism.. What nationalism offers is a bigger ego, a stronger happier 'I', which grows as it's expanded in the group. As the belief is false, it inevitably leads to fear and fear to violence.

What we can do I guess is not to use the mass media, they are made to incite our desire/fear anyway. As to 'the others' there's perhaps little we can do, to educate someone one needs his attention, and that's the first thing only, and it's verging on impossible currently.. It's like chaos out there with million wolves trying to sell something, from cold holes called apartments to future salvation (after death! :)

People seem to forgot it's not stupid to ask about so called 'obvious' things.
For example: when someone dies, why do they say one has to mourn (for a certain period of TIME)?
Why do we need to translate this piece of computer software to 100 languages?
Why do I call myself Chinese and you call yourself Indian or German?
