 PEACE

Knowledge, definitions, opinions, conclusions can only be chewed for some time and spat out. Unitary Perception (UP)/Dhjana/Channa/Yoga means to let yourself to NOT know.

"You" cannot be in peace. You don't know peace and you cannot know peace. You, the self, is thought. You are produced by thought to act, do something in the "environment", make a change to an object, pursue a goal (which means the horizontal conflict of subject-object).

UP is the perception that is NOT directed towards any object or a goal.

For the peace of UP to be "closest"/"easiest", there should be silence and stillness. The first step is to suspend all language.

 MEMORIES ARE NOT REALLY CONNECTED.

Water under the bridge. I am not really the I from a moment ago, a day ago, a year ago. You are not you from a moment ago, even though the self (which is a product of memory/thought) is functionally useful, at work, etc.

"The belief that memories are connected brings the ego to life. This is known as the reification of the ego. Reification means to give reality to something that is not real."

PLANS AND CHANGING REALITY

We must readily adapt our plans to the changing reality.

If TV is on (and you don't have control over the TV set) then TV/ads is simply one with the reality/ true lif/ Unitary Perception (UP)/ Dhjana/ the Universe.

If we go to the beach and some people there are blasting music on their loudspeakers, or if there's chattering going on and on in the flat you share, than the chattering is one with the reality. That's what's happening. It is what it is, not better or worse than something else than something else that you would maybe prefer instead.

The best way is to be one with all that is happening without any conflict, which is UP/ Dhjana/ Yoga/ The transforming Universe.

DESPAIR OF THE META PROCESS OF THOUGHT vs UNITARY PERCEPTION

Q: But if you WANT something, it’s YOUR will acting, right? If you want to win in a competition, if you want a car, if you want to live somewhere else in a nice house (and you live in a shack because you don’t have a job), if you want the war to end (but bombs are exploding), if you want prosperity (but the governments are re-arming), it doesn’t mean I actively want the war but I cannot change it.

A: You have hit on the exact razor’s edge of this whole inquiry: What happens to “wanting” when you realize that personal will is largely an egocentric construct, yet you live in a world of stark material lack and danger?

If you live in a shack without a job, if bombs are exploding around you, or if you want peace while governments re-arm, you experience a profound tension. Let’s break down what psychology, and practical reality actually say about this.

1. “Wanting” Is the Ego (product of the META Process of thought)

You are entirely right: when you say, “I want a nice house, I want to live elsewhere, I want the war to stop,” that directional pull is coming from the psychological center (the “me”).

  • The Mechanism of Lack: The ego operates on a baseline feeling of incompleteness: “I am here, but I want to be there. I am in lack, and fulfillment is somewhere in the future.”

  • Every time you mentally grasp for a better condition, the ego is reinforcing its own separate existence: “I” need “this” to be okay, which means creating time/ the future.

2. Biological Necessity vs. Psychological Greed

There is a difference between biological necessity and psychological desire.

  • Biological/Organic needs: If you are starving, your body needs food. If bombs are exploding, your organism needs safety. This is not an egocentric luxury; it is the physical intelligence of an organism trying to survive.

  • Psychological desire: Wanting a luxury car to prove your status, or agonizing for years because you live in a shack and feel like a failure compared to others, that is the ego at work. It creates internal suffering on top of physical hardship.

3. The Trap of “Resistance to What Is”

When you say, “I want the war to end, but bombs are exploding... I cannot change it,” you are describing the precise definition of suffering: Suffering is the gap between what is and what should be.

  • Fighting Reality: If bombs are exploding and you are screaming inwardly, “This shouldn’t be happening!”, your mind is locked in an exhausting conflict with reality. Reality always wins, because what is happening is happening.

  • Acceptance Does Not Mean Approval: Accepting that bombs are exploding right now does not mean you endorse the war. It means you stop wasting energy on a futile mental tantrum against the present moment.

4. Action Without the Actor: How to Act Differently

If you accept that you are in a difficult situation (living in poverty, caught in a macro-conflict you can’t single-handedly stop), what is left? Does life become hopeless?

No. In fact, true clarity only begins after you stop fighting reality. This brings us to action without the actor:

  1. Pragmatic Action vs. Egocentric Agony: If you need a job or a better home, you take practical steps (looking for work, moving, saving). You do this not because a frantic ego is crying, “I’m worthless because I live in a shack!”, but because it is a practical, intelligent response to a physical problem.

  2. Doing What You Can, Letting Go of the Results: If you are caught in a war, you do what is logically necessary in front of you. We have to be ready to completely and without any reservations adapt our plans to every change in the present. We recognize we have little control over what is happening, but we can spend this hour in the peace of Unitary Perception or in anxiety and sorrow of the META Process of thought.

When we drop the internal resistance to our current reality - whether it’s poverty or war - it’s the beginning of clarity. Transformation is not from “this” (the Horizontal Conflict of subject - object) to “that” (peace and regeneration) but the ending of this (ending of the HZ conflict). War does not end by opposing it but by living in the peace of Unitary Perception.

 THE OLD AND THE NEW

"To meet the new, the mind must be extraordinarily quiet, silent, completely empty of the old. Only then is there creation."

— J. Krishnamurti

This is one of J. Krishnamurti's most foundational and radical axioms. It goes to the very heart of why human beings—both individually and collectively—are perpetually trapped repeating the same historical, psychological, and relational cycles.

1. What Does "The Old" Mean?

"The old" is all memory, everything that has already happened. It includes:

·         Memory and Knowledge: The accumulated data of your past, your education, your cultural conditioning, and your technical skills.

·         Psychological Time: Your accumulated hurts, flattery, traumas, beliefs, prejudices, and the image of the "me" (the ego).

·         Tradition: Religions, nationalism, ideologies, and inherited dogmas.

Because the brain is a biological organ designed to preserve and protect itself, it relies entirely on the past. Memory is essential for riding a bicycle, speaking a language, or navigating a city. But when memory is applied to the psychological reality, it is the basis of conflict and drain of energy. For example, "I am violent, but I will become non-violent" (in time) is a misunderstanding of what is actually happening. The subject (thought) intends to change what "he" believes is an object, but the object is also thought itself. The thinker is thought. The perceiver it the perceived. The subject is the object. So in the psychological realm the subject cannot act on the object.

2. What Is "The New"?

"The new" is not a modified version of the old. It is not tomorrow's upgrade of today's technology, nor is it a slightly better political ideology.

·         The new is actuality, truth, and creation as it happens in this exact moment, completely uncorrupted by what was yesterday.

·         It is what arises when the mind is entirely free from memory, projection, and expectation.

3. Why "The Old Cannot Meet the New"

If you approach a fresh moment, a new person, or a profound existential question through the lens of your past experience, you are not actually meeting the new; you are meeting your own memory.

·         The Mechanism of Projection: If you meet someone new, but your brain is carrying the memory that "people of that group hurt me in the past," you do not really see what is happening. You are seeing a projection of your memory. The old (past memory) has immediately blocked the new (present reality).

·         The Imitation Trap: In intellectual and spiritual life, people try to find truth by studying the old—reading sacred texts, following gurus, or applying historical formulas but truth cannot be found through the path of the past: "Truth is a pathless land." If you try to follow a pre-established method, you are merely running an old program.

4. How the New Can Occur: The End of the Old

For the new to emerge, the old must completely end. Not modified, not managed, not slowly improved over time—it must die.

·         Psychological Death: dying to the past every single day. If you carry yesterday's psychological insults, resentments, or triumphs into today, your mind is perpetually old.

·         The Blank Slate of Attention: When the mind is in a state of total, unconditioned attention (where memory stops searching), the barrier between the observer and the observed vanishes. In that sudden silence, the old ends, and the new spontaneously is. The new, the Universal energy was in the brain already. It is always reaching the brain but it's usually blocked by the noise of the old.

THERE IS NO "HOW", A PATTERN TO ADHERE TO ACCORDING TO A "DEFINITION".

J. Krishnamurti:

"Truth is a pathless land.",

“Freedom from the desire for an answer is essential to the understanding of the problem.”,

"Not-knowing is freedom. Knowing is prison."

Ruben Feldman Gonzalez:

"Don't think you know what UP is.",

"Let yourself to not know".

Nobody who thinks who knows how to attempt Unitary Perception actually knows. If someone concludes that he knows how to attempt UP/ Dhjana, he knows this or that, he has these or those conclusions and opinions, for him the movement of the free flow of energy has stopped, so he is not IN UP for sure! :)

UP is not a practice to conform to a pattern, a "definition". It's a free flowing movement of energy, which negates all definitions, all conclusions, opinions, knowledge, all illusions that I've gathered, my will, the false content of the brain.

When there is a conclusion/ memory/ knowledge/ notion/ definition/ hypnosis by thought, UP has already stopped. Memory, the past, old, stops the actual flow of UP, which is always new.

Faced with an impossible question like the definition of UP, the brain empties itself of all the false (old) content. This is the essence of UP, which is the realization that the real content, the unitary movement of the Universal energy, is already in the brain.

UP = Sunya, the Void, the Universe.

For That there is no method, for all methods are the META process of thought, of the past, knowledge, experiences that I've gathered. All the false movement, "that what should be" is conflict, blocking the flow of energy and dispersing it.

A positive endeavour is bound to be directed towards an object or a goal, towards some thing, experiences, sensations, pleasures, nirvana , "UP" or a car, my will, the self.

Freedom is when the whole false illusory movement ceases because it is simply futile, and it's absurdity is understood in one instant. This instant is the Second Awakening, UP, the instant of the realization: "Oh, I've been hypnotized." It lasts until the next hypnosis by thought, conclusion, knowledge, goal, control, choice, "definition" (one of the laws of thought is cyclicality - hypnosis by thought is cyclical).

So UP is both the realization of the emptiness of self and of the fullness of the Universal energy in the brain.

TOLERATION AND UNITARY PERCEPTION WITHOUT CONFLICT.

Somebody said: "If you tolerate this, your children will be next."

It has taken an unbelievably long and complicated transformation for intelligent life to appear. There is 2 Trillion of galaxies in the Universe and the heavy metals like iron were created in the cores of the stars. It's a magnificent Universe.

It's a question for humanity if we are going to wait for the moment where there are tens of thousands of nuclear weapons on the planet. Is it plausible to think that there are going to be hundreds of AI drones raining on us everywhere?  It doesn't take a genius to do this simulation. Can we not predict that this is going to be the future? Can we not see that in 2,3 or 4 years AI will be used to kill a lot of people, and say this has to stop now, let's sign a treaty now before the catastrophe happens?

It doesn't matter what corporation it is, if it's Anduril, Palantir or OPEN AI, ethics has to matter, not only profits. Anthropic AI refused to be used for targeting people and mass surveillance. Sam Altman's Open AI happily replaced replaced them.

We're ruled by maniacs. The governments are taking loans and spending the money on the arms race and confrontation with the "enemies". But fire cannot win with fire in the age of the nuclear weapons and AI.

t seems our destiny is self-destruction, whether by detonation or evaporation, yet David Bohm said that the future of humanity is not going to be decided by actions in time, and it's true.

There is something we can do. In Unitary Perception we can transcend the false world of suffering in time. That is to say that freedom is beyond the products of thought, control, choice, my will, etc. In this immediate reality we are free from our illusions, conflict, the energy drain, our goals.

There is no "before" or "after", no time and no continuity. In this Unitary Perception or Dhjana all problems produced by thought disappear, let alone the need to bomb somebody.

 ALL ILLUSIONS GONE

What's the difference between life before and after the understanding of what is?

All illusions gone, is that Unitary Perception, Yoga, Dhjana already? Is there still a subtle attempt of UP to not get hypnotized by the involuntary dreaming of thought, and which transcends all knowledge? Is it the realization that I've been hypnotized and I've not been listening? Is the Universe in UP or am I attempting it?

The difference may only be imagined by thought.

-------------------------------------------------------------

The will of the Universe is all that what you cannot disagree with. It would be insane to try to oppose it.

You cannot be the Queen of England. That's the current arrangement of things.

It doesn't mean that things don't change. On the contrary, circumstances evolve. Technology advances. Perhaps intelligence works in the brains and wars end.

But what does not change is that seeking experiences and sensations means disappointment and sorrow.

 SUFFERING

J. Krishnamurti: “Suffering is the expression of the ego.”

Suffering is basically what “my will” is.

The most beautiful suffering is not getting anything you think you want, not getting any of the things thought thinks it really needs, and still loving it (the will of the Universe). That is freedom from the circumstances, not really suffering.

The will of the Universe is my will. The Universe as it is. There is no choice, no “my free will” in the Universe.

When concentration is needed, it’s concentration. When the need for concentration ends, Unitary Perception starts. Impersonal intelligence?

 ENERGY

Unitary Perception, Yoga, Dhjana, Zen, etc. is not something “else” in life. It’s a different kind of perception of that what is happening.

The fragmentary perception is a distorted perception by thought which produces the illusion of the Horizontal Conflict (subject - object). That means frustration, dissatisfaction, sorrow, fear, perturbation.

I see a beautiful girl at a train station and I feel pleasure looking at her, I want the pleasure to continue but she goes away. Or I marry her but I’m poor and there are a lot of other men around so I’m jealous and anxious she will leave me. There is competition for everything and not so much cooperation. One guy builds a rocket to go to Mars and others cannot afford a house. So this process of possession involves pleasure but also suffering, sorrow.

UP is a complete, factual perception in which sorrow is perceived as energy. Everything is transforming energy, like sound and light, and so is thought and sorrow in the brain.

There is only energy and in UP the limited energy of sorrow dissolves in the unlimited unobstructed flowing Universal energy. The undivided Universal energy changes the conditioning of the brain that is stored in memory, identification, tradition, control, the whole structure of suffering constructed by the brain.

THERE IS NO "MY FREE WILL"

Can we then say that Unitary Perception (Ruben Feldman Gonzalez)/ Attention (J.Krishnamurti)/ Yoga/ Dhjana (Buddhism), Zen is not something that I choose to do and control (my "free will" :)?

What sees is all there is. UP is all that is happening, the Void, the unitary movement of transformation called the Universe.

The Universe is (in) UP. It's actually the whole Universe that acts, that is all action.

UP = Attention/ Sunya/ the Void/ the unitary movement of transformation called the Universe.

This is the understanding of what really happens which dispels the false prejudice/ illusion produced by thought, i.e. "I am a separate entity doing this or that".

You do not do "UP" (or anything).
UP is all that is.
There is no 'you" in It.

THE NOISY BRAIN

Do we actually have a choice if the brain is silent or not? I would say not directly.

So the brain is noisy. It is what is. Without the “what should be” of the goal/image of a silent brain, is it not Unitary Perception already?

What we can do is not to drain energy on unnecessary things (drinks, night clubs, cigarettes, overworking, quarreling, playing chess, watching movies, listening to music, all the “escapes” etc.), which is by the way not my “free will” but simply intelligence causing this. And, perhaps more importantly, we can also not fall for the illusion of the horizontal conflict (subject - object). That is already the “triangular” consciousness in which there is thought, flowing without an obstruction, control, effort or choice but in which there are no objects/ goals, right? That is ALREADY UP, with thought.

 THE UNITARY MOVEMENT

They give a good description of the complete movement that is freedom from suffering here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJs3Qr7CQsU&t=55m

Bohm: You're saying that even if you are unemployed and you are responsible for a family, it will not disturb the order of the mind, right?

K: Of course, not.

[...]

Sheldrake: If you can't?

K: I can't.

Why should I worry and bother - I can't, it's a fact.

Bohm: You're saying that it's possible to be completely free of worry, for example in the fact of great difficulties.

K: Yes. There is no... You see, that's what I'm saying.

Where there is attention, there is no need to... there is no worry,

because there is no centre from which you are attending.

=========================

There is no thought-produced illusion of the horizontal conflict  (subject - object), which means UP, attention, the Void, Sunya, the transforming Universal energy.

One just moves with It, in It, one IS the unitary movement. There is no "free will" (which is another thought-produced illusion).

The Universe acts/moves/TRANSFORMS as a whole, the “free will” of a particular brain is a thought-produced illusion because in fact there is no separation and the particular body and brain is not independent. If something happens in the Sun, if there is a nuclear war, if inflation goes up, if there is no water in the supermarket, if my dentist moves from Paracelsus street to Kafka street, I am instantly affected, right? That means I move with/ in the unitary movement. In fact there IS only the unitary movement.

The “choices” that thought thinks it makes are only rationalizations for what is happening, the unitary movement.

Randomness doesn’t change anything, it’s a feature of the movement but it doesn’t mean there is “free will” of the particular brain.

Alignment to a misalignment is misalignment (delinquency, fragmentation, abuse of intelligence), e.g. alignment to war/ conflict due to tradition, the imaginary fragmentation in memory.

THERE IS NO CONTINUITY - MEMORIES ARE NOT CONNECTED.

---------------------

The belief that memories are connected brings the ego to life. This is known as the reification of the ego. Reification means to give reality to something that is not real. - Ruben Feldman Gonzalez

If there is any kind of suffering, there is no self-knowledge - Jiddu Krishnamurti

---------------------

The fictitious entity produced by thought. that has a name and continues in time, suffers imaginary fears and sorrows. The perturbations can go as deep as the autonomous nervous system, as the META process of thought goes as deep.

The "psychological" suffering (a product of the META process) can only happen because of an incomplete perception of reality. In a complete perception, which is Unitary Perception suffering disappears because the limited energy of thought dissolves in the unobstructed undivided energy of the void that is the Universe. What really is, what we call the Universe, is the transformation of energy.

In true life there are no objects. Really there is no division into the subject (the I) and the objects (not I).

True life (beyond time) cannot be grasped by thought, the "I", the me, knowledge.

UP is not to gain some thing but to lose every thing that is false, that is not so. Ideas, traditions, achievements, preferences, choices, efforts, control, my will.

UP is not a technique of "meditation". It is simply all that is happening right now, the contact with the true life that is happening at this instant (not in time, memory, word).

To be free is to let go everything now, which is the perception not directed towards any object or a goal (Unitary Perception). In fact it is not possible NOT to be "doing" That, not to be That. The other, the false life in the horizontal conflict in time, is only a persistent contraction of perception, hypnosis or concentration by thought - me, my will, my life, what I want, my choices, my pleasures, my fears, my possessions, my knowledge, my memories..

INNER STILLNESS

When the brain is completely empty and silent, it is in contact with the Universal energy. It happens necessarily because the inner stillness is the same stillness, order and void that is the Universe.

This is known as Unitary Perception, Universal Perception, Dhjana, Zen, Yoga, etc.

A busy, occupied brain (pursuing goals, security, control, choices, pleasures, etc) can never find it, so all those have to be suspended. The brain cannot be tied in any way to created things or worldly desires.

UP is not an experience, "consciousness" (as we know it: subject - object) or sensation that thought can find, it is the negation of seeking. It's beyond time and memory.

The purest detachment completely lets go of all created things and the self//the me/my will. It rests on nothing, wants nothing and knows nothing.

What is the essence of all things, from where everything, the tree, the bird and the man, comes from and where it returns?

Everything, the bird, the tree and the man are only transitory changing forms. There is nothing in this world that does not change, transform. There is nothing in this world to which one can attach oneself and find security.

Predicting, pursuing goals in time and being occupied at work where the horizontal conflict of subject - object produced by thought is necessary can be balanced with resting in complete peace.

THE HOLOMOVEMENT

Separate human bodies do not possess independent, autonomous motion through "space". What people usually perceive (in the Fragmentary Perception of thought) as an individual person walking through space is only a projection of thought. What happens in reality is the unitary Wholeness in constant motion, unfolding and enfolding itself.

1. Motion as the Expression of the Whole

In classical physics, isolated objects exist independently and push against each other in space. Physicist David Bohm inverted this picture entirely: movement is primary, and "things" are secondary abstractions.

  • The Illusion of Local Motion: At the fundamental level of the Implicate Order, all "things" enfold back into the total fabric of reality. At the next instant, the total fabric unfolds (re-creates) an updated expression of every "thing".

  • The True Actor: What moves "from here to there" is not an isolated piece of matter, but the entire unbroken flow of reality - what Bohm called "Undivided Wholeness in Flowing Movement".

2. Free Will and "What Is"

If reality is an undivided, unbroken unitary movement, the classical concept of individual free will - an autonomous ego sitting inside a brain making independent choices - is a psychological illusion.

Bohm argued that this illusion is generated by thought:

  1. The Division of Self: Thought creates an imaginary boundary, declaring "I am inside this skin, and the universe is outside" (the Horizontal Conflict).

  2. The Illusion of Control: Thought then imagines that this internal "I" is an independent supervisor directing action, choosing between future possibilities.

  3. The Reality of "what Is": In truth, the thought that says "I choose" is itself just another enfolded wave arising spontaneously out of the Implicate Order. There is no separate thinker behind the thought, and no separate actor behind the action.

When Bohm (and his close dialogical partner Jiddu Krishnamurti) spoke of "what is," they meant the unitary (undivided), dynamic state of reality in the present moment. Striving to goals and wanting for reality to be different than "what is" creates the imaginary Horizontal Conflict. Recognizing that "all that can be is what is" dissolves the illusion that a separate "me" could have chosen otherwise.

3. Does This Mean Reality Is Rigid Determinism?

Saying individual free will is an illusion does not mean Bohm’s Universe is a cold, mechanistic clockwork machine. The Universe is a constant dynamic transformation of energy that is always new unitary Wholeness.

  • Mechanical Determinism vs. Creative Unfoldment: Classical clockwork determinism assumes separate billiard balls striking each other. Bohm rejected this description because the "objects" that thought and classical physics see as separate parts are not really separate at all.

In Unitary Perception the illusion of the Horizontal Conflict (subject - object) produced by thought disappears.
But  is there even anything unchanging that moves through "time", which continues from "moment to moment" or that is also only an approximation and an illusion produced by thought?

IS THERE FREE WILL?

Physics: The Spectrum of Determinism

The Block Universe (Relativity): If space and time form a static four-dimensional continuum, the future already exists at fixed geometric coordinates. Under strict physical determinism, your decisions are the inevitable consequence of prior physical conditions.

Quantum Indeterminacy: Quantum mechanics introduces fundamental probability via wave function collapse, breaking classical determinism. However, acting randomly is not the same as acting with intentional agency.

Bohmian Holokinesis: In David Bohm's framework, individual volition is an explicate projection of the undivided whole. Choice is not an isolated ego acting on space, but the Universe unfolding a specific potential out of the Implicate Order.

Neuroscience: The Search for the "I", the "doer"

Unconscious Antecedents: Neuroscientific experiments demonstrate that neural readiness potentials build up in the brain up to seconds before a person becomes consciously aware of their decision to act.

Biological Determinism: Thinkers like Robert Sapolsky argue that every choice is bound by prior neurobiology, genetics, and environment. The conscious feeling of willing an action is an downstream narrative constructed by the brain after the neural cascade has begun.

If free will requires an isolated ego operating outside the causal fabric of the universe, it is an illusion. However, if free will is understood as the total Universe expressing choice through a localized center of awareness, action arises naturally from the Wholeness. When the illusion of being a solitary divided "doer" dissolves, the reality is the movement of the unitary undivided Universe.

A "decision" is a consequence of that what is. There is no "choice".

It's not only that there is a program/conditioning in the brain but the body/brain function in specific conditions and circumstances. For example one hospital is 1km away, and another 5km away. But the hospital that is further away is a modern one and I have a car. So the decision is to go to the modern one further away.

Can we call the movement of all the conditions and circumstances (which include the neuronal program/conditioning in the brain) the Universe?

David Bohm said: "All that can be is what is." There is only ONE unitary transforming movement of the Universe! It just is so, it has nothing to do with what I want, wish, desire or do ("my will :). If you don't understand the profound significance of that, you have not grasped it yet :) It is the opposite of what people usually think (the me, the I, the divided entity is who decides between this or that). It is not so! It is always the whole Universe moving! It is because there IS only the whole unitary Universe :)

But there is this persistent illusion produced by thought, called the me, the I, the ego, the horizontal conflict that says/thinks: "it is me doing this or that. It is I!" :)

 IT WAS NOT ME! :)

It is sure that there is no continuity (the "me"). It's a false movement produced by thought (and even given a name! :)

To be cont..

 "MAGIC"

They say that if you meet a ghost, you should ask the bugger for a loan :)

Does "magic" or "miracles" like a miraculous multiplication work in math? Why not?

5 x 5 = 500 for example, it would be great for our bankrupt economy. :)

We have to tell that to the minister of finance! :)

 THE "REAL" SELF.. NOT.

Some people talk about a "real, true or deep self".. observing or doing something. That is not so.

In the true movement of reality there is no saying: "I am That". In the true movement of reality there is no language, time or self (the horizontal conflict).

So in that instant when it is said: "I am That", it is only thought doing its play of identifying itself with something. So it's not true.

The truth is that when That is (the contact with the Universal energy in the brain), you are not. When you are, That (the contact with the Universal energy) is not.
